Summary of Learning

My Journey with Social Media and Mastery in Skill

Photo by Ricky Esquivel on pexelx.com

I want to share my post on my general social media experience. Most of the time, I avoid using social media. Despite this, compared to the other master’s-level courses I’ve taken, the social media and online education course have a different impact on how I learn about social media and how it affects both my professional and personal lives. Despite this, the first week was quite intriguing and I learned a lot. Although I had heard of vlogging, I was unaware about blogging and how we could share our blogs with others through our websites. This seems to be a completely new experience for me. Despite the fact that I must share my webpage with my friends and Family.

In the first week of my finished networked learning project, I discussed my relationship with social media and its effects on both my personal and professional lives, both positively and negatively. I shared more about my personal trip to Vancouver and how I use my favorite social media, like Whatsapp, to share my memories with loved ones. I also talked about how professional social media, like Linkedin, helped me obtain a position as an educator in Regina. As a result, it had a tremendously beneficial impact on my personality and I learned the role of social media in my daily life. On the other hand, I start my first week of major learning project by learning Martial Arts. When I was a teenager, I was highly interested in learning that skill, but social media and online courses gave me the chance to learn and share my martial arts experiences. Through my post, I’ve shared the basic procedures I used to practice with my directors’ daughter.

I have a chance to learn about Twitter during the second week of my networked learning post. Despite not using Twitter, I created an account there and learned about hastags, sharing quotes, and retweeting. Even so, I have discussed my own personal and professional experiences with Twitter, including both its advantages and disadvantages. On the other side, my second week of talent mastery seems to be a lot of fun for me. I advanced by taking intermediate steps after taking beginner ones. I’ve gained knowledge about postures, balance, and power maintenance through jogging, exercise, and continued practice.

The third week of my experience with social media taught me the value and advantages of social media activism. Even though this word is new to me, I have told friends about how one might use social media to seek redress from any unfair practice’s. On the other side, learning new skills with the aid of YouTube videos teaches me how to use my strengths and limitations for the body’s optimization’s.

The final week of my networked learning post discusses open education and sharing cultures. I’ve discovered via this issue that open education benefits not only students but also teachers in the classroom. The previous week, on the other hand, was frantic but nonetheless followed by mastery of postures, power, and balance, learning about body optimization’s, and control. I had studied many martial arts and learned how to position myself before kicking an opponent. This week has been both a busy and enjoyable one.

Finally, I’d like to express my gratitude to everyone for their comments on my post and for continuing to encourage my talent. Sharing my personal stories through posts has been a lot of fun for me. The importance of social media and fitness in our daily lives was made clear by this fantastic experience.

However, using the Discord community software also teaches us the importance of discussing important resources with our classmates.

Final Step Towards Learning

Photo by Andrea Piacquadio on Pexels.com

I’ve been quite worn out this week. My capstone synthesis course assignment took too long, and the most of the time I was preoccupied with work. Even though I had a busy schedule, I still made time for my workout. In order to be healthy and strong for my martial arts, I went for a morning stroll. Once I’ve mastered the stances and can retain both balance and power, I’ll have finished my martial arts training. Without a doubt, I’m still working on it. I wouldn’t say with assurance that I’m perfect in that regard, but I’m still trying. I’ll start taking classes after my master’s is finished.

I’ve gained greater insight into my weaknesses this week as a result of practicing martial arts with my director’s daughter. I’ve studied punches as well and practice them frequently, but I’m still not fantastic at them. Even yet, I have put a lot of effort into improving my weakness. For example, I used a work strategy while applying a punch to my had. Like when I bent down and kicked the opponent with my right toe at a right angle, but that was the incorrect course of action. Then, my director daughter’s informed me that before kicking someone else, we must first fix our positions. You must then watch your opponent’s position, alter your position as necessary, and take note of when the other person starts punching.

Despite this past week’s focus on a significant learning endeavour, I also learned about the various forms of martial arts. Shokotan, Ju Jitsu, Bajutsu, Jeet Kune Do, Kyusho Jitsu, Kuntao, Kokonda, and Kenjutsu are just a few examples of the many different martial arts. I’ve learned about all the stages from list-of-martial-arts , especially the crucial one. I now know that the martial art form known as Shokotan makes use of strikes. Despite the fact that I have started punches on opponents in this manner. That’s the method I prefer to use while punching an opponent in a martial arts match. However, Kenjustsu and Kokonda, two of the aforementioned martial arts styles, are my favorite’s and most practical.

Kokondo is utilised for self-defense and Kenjutsus is a tool for instruction in the study of martial arts.
Nodobut, even though I’ve reached the pinnacle of my martial arts training, I’m continuously learning and honing different forms. I’m having a great time and am happy for the activity and skill.

Open Education and Culture of Sharing

Role of Open Education and Culture of Sharing

Photo by Maddy Freddie on Pexels. com

Open education is essentially a concept, a practice, and a movement with the primary goal of increasing education for everyone’s accessibility, inclusivity, and effectiveness. Sharing resources, open content, pedagogical techniques, and resources that others can use or reuse is one of its key functions. Using digital technology, open education, in my opinion, is education that removes barriers globally, is available to everyone, and is unrestricted by any kind of barrier, whether financial, technological, or legal ones. In spite of this, open education is very important to me. In the same way, it may always make any kind of resources and content available.

In my personal life, I place more value on open education. It is increasingly significant in our daily lives. It aids in my ability to work with the institutions. For instance, when I was in India and enrolled in a six-month accounting programme at Lovely Professional University, open education enabled me to collaborate with university materials and information online for no charge. Even so, it is a free, convenient way for me to evaluate a variety of course assignments, due dates, and materials. Even still, I have to share the online resources with people who are unable to purchase books or other items online.

I believe it has a favorable effect on my professional life. It plays very significant role in teaching and sharing resources online. Teachers can independently share their resources. It is scalable in the sense that it can be freely distributed to everyone. However, it helps to reduce the financial burden that students feel while buying textbooks and paper copies of textbooks. According to me, it is the role of the educator to share their internet resources, materials, and information with their students. As a result, they are able to collaborate and assess at will wherever in the world.

During a pandemic, however, I would prefer to share my lectures, as well as resources and presentations, with my students online. Schools were shut down during the time. The student’s education was a worldwide concern. I was able to share my resources as part of an open education with the aid of zoon meetings. In spite of this, it benefits the pupils. While in class, students are more engaged and like listening to lectures. They become more intelligent and inventive with technology as a result. They are unable to share resources online or conduct screen shares. They become more aware of it and enjoy it more when open education occurs in their lives.

THIRD STEP TOWARD LEARNING

Category Archives:- Major Learning Project

Skilled Optimization of Control

I merely need to attain the culmination of my learning process after keeping the proper body weight and gaining proficiency in postures, balance, and power to perfect in martial arts. Then, using my Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube channels, I will be able to instruct others. The other thing I want to do is raise people’s knowledge of this expertise. Along with working out this week, I’ve been working on the skilled optimization’s of control, which is the third stage of learning. I think this phase is really fascinating. I still find it enjoyable despite that. My ability to manage and balance my feet while starting to hit my opponents has improved to the point where I can do it perfectly now. I used to go to the gym every day in the evening. Even so, I’ve started my morning stroll this week. Additionally, going for a stroll in the morning helps me stay fit.

Actually, I’d want to remain unaware of this phase. Because I frequently practiced my martial arts skills with director’s daughter as a practice partner. She continues to occasionally teach me the fundamentals of the skill that she is proficient at.

However, it was only after watching YouTube videos that I learned about the optimization’s stage. This phase is sometimes referred to as calibration. At this point, when I throw kicks, like as a down or up, I’m employing both strength and balance. Even so, my blows against opponents were flawless.
With the aid of YouTube, I keep studying about martial arts optimization’s.

SOCIAL MEDIA ACTIVISM

Category Archives:- Network learning Post

Social Media Activism

Photo by Ron Lach on pexels.com

One of the most interactive technologies is social media, which enables users to connect with others online and share information, ideas, opinions, photographs, and other content. The sharing and promotion of materials relevant to political and social movements is made possible by social media activism. It serves as a venue for online protests and cause advocacy as well. This is due to the fact that hashtags have a multifaceted effect in promoting social media activity.

Yes, in my opinion, social media leads are very beneficial and worthwhile for the reasons listed below:

  1. Through postings and hashtags, social media activism significantly contributes to raising awareness of topics relating to social justice.
  2. Social media activism is especially beneficial for those with disabilities who are unable to participate physically. Spending a lot of time on it allows them to interact with the outside world.
  3. It aids in promoting company sales as well as fundraising, contributions, and marketing.
  4. It serves as one of the world’s fastest avenues for disseminating information.

The use of social media platforms, on the other hand, allows for the creation of important online discussions regarding social justice. On the grounds of caste, religion, and gender, discrimination is practiced throughout India. Most educated individuals aren’t getting jobs there as a result. There is no work for them. In that country, they are battling for their rights. On social media, they appeared to protest. With the use of their social media profiles on YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and via the use of hashtags and postings, they elevate their voice. Despite the fact that there are numerous internet controversies committed. Politicians finally heard what the people had to say and prepared to meet their expectations. With the aid of social media, this appeared to be doable.

Moving forward with the duties of the educators as an example of online active citizenship. These are as follows:-

  1. With the use of technology, teachers may promote civic engagement and cross-cultural awareness among their students.
  2. Educators are in charge of disseminating findings and solutions internationally.
  3. Online meetings discussing a sense of community belonging can be organized and monitored by educators.
  4. It is the responsibility of instructors to create for their pupils a learning environment that promotes global citizenship and enables them to engage in activities that are safe, private, and legal.
  5. They must educate their kids about cybercrimes, firewalls, and antisocial behaviour.

As a result, social media activism as a whole is crucial in today’s society.

Twitter language

Photo by Jorge Urosa on Pexels.com

Most of the time, I use social media for both personal and business reasons. We all regularly communicate on a variety of social media sites, including Snapchat, Instagram, Youtube, and Twitter. Even though I frequently connect on YouTube, it’s one of my favorite’s social networking platforms. Additionally, I enjoy using Twitter these days to communicate with my friends and fans. I’m just getting started. I’ve never used Twitter before. As a component of the networked learning project activity for ECI 831, I started utilizing Twitter. I had no prior awareness of it, but once I started using it, it seemed interesting.

Hastages, tweeting, and tweet deck are all unfamiliar terms to me. But after reading various articles and watching videos on YouTube, I’ve learnt more about these things. Even if I was unaware of quotes and the practice of posting others’ quotes on our own accounts. I enjoy using the hashtag #eci831 to share other people’s quotes in the classroom. Even though I’ve added a caption to my profile and associated my website with a login, anyone can see it thanks to those updates. Overall, I think that I can now handle Twitter and grasp its language. I’m having a great time and am happy that Twitter has helped me.

Photo by karolina Grabowska on Pexels.com

In my opinion, Twitter is a really valuable tool for both personal and business purposes. Twitter is used for the following purposes in personal life:

  1. In my opinion, everyone can tweet on other posts as per their preferences, viewpoints, and opinions whenever they like, share their personal information with others, and connect with others.
  1. Compared to other social media, it is, in my opinion, one of the most used social media networks.
  2. The ability to stay up to current with followers’ most recent updates.

However, in terms of professionalism. It proves to be really beneficial.

  1. Twitter, in my opinion, offers a chance to advance our careers and market our expertise to businesses. A résumé with a “career marketing” page on it, can provides us an opportunity to be quickly connected to businesses, banks, institutions, and other organizations.
  2. People who are experiencing a variety of mental health concerns can simply contact their doctors with the use of twitter.
  3. The teachers found it to be really helpful in the classroom. It will help me, for example, in my future classroom.
Photo by Pavel Danilyuk on Pexels.com

It enables me to exchange information on classes I have completed and will be teaching in the future, just like in my future classroom. Furthermore, it gives me the chance to continue reminding the pupils about their assignments. However, in the classroom, it serves as a research tool for my students. By giving the children the freedom to learn from others, it also promotes learning. Despite the fact that they are able to subscribe, look up persons and subjects, and follow pertinent hashtags. In addition, my students can able to share their knowledge with a wider audience.

In terms of speech, Twitter is useless, in my opinion. One is not permitted to reveal their bad views in front of the public, just as we must have to be takecare of public opinions and thoughts. However, from a character standpoint, it is not a useful tool. It’s like each and every tweet have a charter constraints. Due to character constraints, however, there are times when we must write more text than is necessary. According to me, that seems to be of no use due to that.

Finally, I can now communicate on Twitter. It’s a fascinating and useful tool. I like to share my posts as well as resources with the twitter instead of another social media.

MAJOR LEARNING POST

Second Step toward Learning

Mastering stances, Balance and Power

Photo by Cottonbro studio on Pexels.com

After regularly exercising helped me to keep a healthy weight. I want to continue with the next phase of my learning project. With the assistance of my director’s daughter, I have gained knowledge this week about mastering in postures, balance, and power. My director’s daughter told me that maintaining bodily equilibrium is a skill that must be practiced in order to develop martial arts techniques. She also instructed me to focus on front stance initially before advancing into cat stance while beginning to defend myself against punches and opponents. No doubt, it’s new to me even though it’s quite difficult to learn, but practice makes perfect.

Photo by Cottonbro Studio on Pexels.com

I have to practice at least twice a day at home in the evening. Even I used to browse YouTube for stances-related videos to watch. I’ve learned from several YouTube tutorials that front stance is all about spreading your front foot out more and placing all of your weight on the front leg, whereas cat stance is all about placing all of your weight on the back leg. I have to practice both fighting positions at the same time. Even yet, when I practiced various postures with the director’s daughter, she frequently knocked me over. After then, I’ve discovered a lot about stances. After learning about stances, I should be aware of the enormous ability to keep my body balanced while facing down opponents. Then I have to learned about speed and power this week. I now understand how to punch with both speed and power. The problem is that power and speed are the foundation of all combat arts. If we have in-depth knowledge of anything, our martial arts skills are superb. I have to read a piece about how to increase my speed and strength. Then I understand, that one will have greater power behind the attack if they employ their complete body.

I’m still working on that.
I’ll continue with the other steps in the coming week and focus on perfecting my skills.
Gratitude for reading.

MAJOR PROJECT POST

ECI 831: – Social Media and Online Education

First Step toward Learning

As I indicated earlier, martial arts is an intriguing skill. Though this ability is challenging to learn, I wouldn’t rush to do so. In order to perfect this skill, I had to start out slowly. I used to practice this technique with my director’s daughter most of the time when I was working there. She used to instruct students on fundamental skills.

Photo by Julia Larson on Pexels.com

She informed me that it is important to maintain a healthy weight before beginning martial arts training. However, I discovered that I was overweight when I weighed myself on a machine. After that, I made the decision to start working out at a gym. In the late afternoon, I had signed up for the YMCA gym in Regina, Saskatchewn.

I begin my hour-long run on the treadmill at a speed of 6 mph. According to the treadmill’s speedometer, I had burned 500 calories in a half-hour. Then I have to take a 10-minute break before starting to run on the treadmill once more at the same speed.

I felt exhausted after that. I avoided a lot of junk food as a result of mastering my initial step towards my skill. I used to typically eat Maggie. But when I train for running, I also become overly concerned about my food. Even so, in order to be healthy and fit, I now consume a lot of green vegetables, carrots, cucumbers, avocados, apples, and kiwis. I also drink a lot of water.

I have lost weight until 57 after practicing running for a week. I’m now prepared to go learn this talent. My initial learning phase is almost complete. I now want to take the following stages in the upcoming weeks in addition to working out. I’m going to start practicing’s punches next week.

Instagram has Changed the World

I don’t use social media frequently. There is no question that it significantly influenced the world as we know it. The majority of work today should be completed on social media. Most of the time, I choose to use only those social media platforms and websites that are convenient for me to use and support my educational goals. Instead of using other social media sites, I would prefer to use WhatsApp to share my images, videos, and essential documents. In comparison to other social networking networks, I find WhatsApp to be simpler to use.

However, the majority of my friends choose to utilize Instagram and Snapchat to share both their photographs and their tales. They explained to me the many features of both Instagram and SnapChat. But as soon as I started using both, I thought Instagram seemed more intriguing than Snapchat. I then registered for an account there. I want to know more about it. When I first started utilizing this platform, I discovered a lot of features. Nevertheless, I have learned how to post media using both geolocation and hashtags. However, it is simple to share one’s stories, pictures, and videos with followers. This software has several fantastic features, however WhatsApp lacks the ability for users to share their posts publicly. On the other side, it has several outstanding features that I have observed while using this app , such as live streaming, private messaging, and short stories.

Additionally, It affects Users in a variety of ways, both positive and negative. One of this app’s greatest advantages, in my opinion, is that it gives us a more visual platform. Users can also edit, post, and share short stories using the most cutting-edge methods with the help of this application. The children, however, experience a great deal of benefit from it. It serves as a platform that is kid-friendly, therefore in my opinion, it gives kids the possibility to feel empowered. For example, kids may express their creativity without worrying about what the rest of the world will think. By imitating their favorite’s role models, children are able to learn about those people, and they have easy access to anything they desire. The addictive nature of Instagram is one of its drawbacks, in my opinion. Although I have seen that younger users of Instagram are more addicted than adults. When I start using it, I also develop an addiction. Even though I used to check other people’s posts and forget about my own work and essential projects, spending the majority of my time texting, sharing videos, and scrolling through Instagram accounts that I followed feels like a waste of time.

I believe that Instagram offers many educational opportunities for teachers and parents to be aware of. For example, instructors and parents can start accounts on Instagram to promote kids’ use of descriptive writing. On the other side, kids can utilize the websites for NASA, The British Library, National Geographic, and other museums to learn about anything in the world.

As a result, it has significantly altered the world. I’d like to learn more about cross-app communications and remixing the reels.

Masters in Martial Arts

Photo by Cottonbro studio on Pexels.com

I believe that everyone has a different set of skills. To meet their needs and reach their future objectives, everyone wants to learn new abilities. Although some people would like to pick up a talent as a sort of hobby, others learn because they are inspired by others.

Even as a teenager, I was quite interested in learning more about this, but sadly, I never had the opportunity. My employer’s daughter gave me the motivation to revisit this subject, nevertheless. When I am free, she instructs me on the fundamentals of karate, including kicks, strikes, and blocks. She used to practice fundamental punches with me in an effort to achieve perfectionism. I was moved by this, and I made the decision to study more about martial arts. Since I take good care of my health, I would like to learn karate skill, a martial art inorder to improve both my mental and physical fitness as my learning project.

Photo by Caleb Oquendo on Pexels.com

This is the only talent, in my opinion, that is crucial for maintaining fitness and self-defense. However, when I searched for videos on learning karate, I discovered the enormous advantages of martial arts. To achieve perfection in this skill, on the other hand, one needs physical stamina, composure, hard work, focus, and discipline.

Continuing with the upcoming learning project step. How will I be able to get this skill? to achieve perfection in that. After finishing my education, I will be enrolled to a Karate decent training Centre in Regina, which provides me with exceptional instruction. By doing this, I may develop into an effective student and be able to teach others through my YouTube channel. I only want to learn this skill because I want to engage in a regular activity. Hopefully, I’ll be able to pick up this talent fairly quickly.
