“To Digital Learning…” A love letter🌹: My Learning Summary for EC&I 831

This is the finale!

As the semester comes to a close, I’ve been reflecting on just how much EC&I 831 has reshaped the way I learn, teach, and exist online. What started as uncertainty (“Blogging? Public learning? Sharing my chaos??”) slowly turned into one of the most meaningful learning experiences I’ve had. For my Summary of Learning, I wanted to create something that truly captured the heart of this journey—the confusion, the breakthroughs, the memes, the French-learning disasters, the OER discoveries, the AI arguments, and the unexpected joy of learning in public.

So I wrote… a love letter.
(Taylor Swift would be proud. Or concerned. Hard to say.)

In this creative video, I take you through every “era” of my digital learning journey. I refuse to divulge more information here as it would be #spoilers. But all I can say is…

This course helped me become someone who learns openly, shares generously, and embraces creativity, community, and curiosity—even when the process is messy.

This being my first time ever making a whole video with this high a production value, I think I did the job! Thanks to Canva, I somehow transformed my scribbled script, too-many-ideas, and dramatic Taylor-coded energy into something that looks… surprisingly legit.

I’m endlessly and wholeheartedly proud of my growth and progress this semester. This video is a tribute to my journey and a love letter to digital learning. Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey—for your comments, conversations, encouragement, and chaos. This class really was a network stitched together by curiosity, generosity, and shared growth.
